Consumer finance market in Vietnam is told to be very potential given the low banking penetration and part of population unbanked. However, there have been an absence about a primary research and assessment about these investment themes.. Market data and credit assessment for all key players were not yet available while all key players are in need of financings for their growth while creditors and investors asked for an independent credit assessment about each key player for their debt financing consideration

Solution:

We were engaged by FE Credit, the largest consumer finance company in Vietnam to conduct an independent credit assessment. The report was used by FE Credit for their design of financing plan and negotiation with their local and international creditors.

Results:

The result of FiinResearch’s credit assessment shared and presented to prospective investors and creditors of FEC. FE Credit successfully raised US$500m debt financing from both local and foreign markets financing their credit growth.
